Full Course Title
Close-Range Remote Sensing of Earth Surface Processes
Instructor Name(s)
Walker
Course Description
Introduction to close-range remote sensing for interpreting and detecting changes in Earth surface processes and landscapes. Topics include: unpiloted aerial systems (UAS), LIDAR (aerial, terrestrial), autonomous camera systems, Structure-from-Motion photogrammetry, spatial-temporal change detection, etc. Review key principles, methods, and technologies of both active (e.g., laser-based) and passive (e.g., photogrammetric based) sensors.
