A writing course focusing on developing analytical skills, synthesizing multiple sources, sustaining coherent arguments, and revising for clarity of style. Reading and writing assignments are drawn from a range of engineering disciplines.

Satisfaction of the Entry Level Writing requirement or Linguistics 12; freshmen only; open to ECE, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering majors only.

Advisory Enrollment Comments

Not open for credit if student has completed English 2, Writing 2LK, Writing 2 or has passed the AP English exam (Composition and Literature or Language and Composition) with a score of 4 or higher.
