Course Description

Structure, reactivity, mechanisms, synthesis and nomenclature of organic molecules including aromatic heterocycles, carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, nucleic acids, coenzymes, lipids, polymers, and their mechanisms. This course is intended for chemistry majors and others requiring a strong basis in organic chemistry.
