Graduate Degree Policy
Graduate Council’s minimum requirements for advanced degrees are described below. Individual departments impose additional requirements, so students should consult the General Catalog entry for their department and major for that program's specific requirements. Students admitted with deficiencies in background or training must remedy these deficiencies as per the specific program requirements. A student follows the departmental degree requirements set forth at the time of the student’s admission. If requirements change, the student is given the option of continuing under the original requirements or changing to the revised curriculum.
