Creative Studies Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts

Program Type

Bachelor's Degree

Program Description

The CCS Biology major provides intensive study for students preparing for a career in research in the life sciences and associated fields. From the first year, you’ll have the opportunity to pursue independent research under the guidance of an individual faculty advisor in areas such as aquatic biology, ecology, molecular biology, biopsychology, paleontology, biological anthropology, and microbiology. Because research is an integral part of the program, our faculty consider CCS Biology students as junior colleagues. The flexibility of the CCS Biology major combined with the resources of a research-intensive university will provide you the ideal opportunity to develop as a biologist.
