The activities of scholars and professionals in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education (GGSE) are woven together by a common thread: a commitment to reshaping schooling so that all children in our diverse society have knowledge and abilities to become competent and responsible citizens. The Gevirtz Graduate School of Education's goals are to produce and disseminate new theories and knowledge, and provide guidance and experience needed to allow our graduate students to reach their full potential as researchers and practitioners. Graduate students in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education benefit from the wide range of multi-disciplinary faculty interests and research and from opportunities to work closely with faculty to research and study in depth a chosen area of work.

The faculty, students, and staff of the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education are actively engaged in numerous P-20 and community-based research efforts, currently supported by nearly $15 million of extramural support. These research efforts are assisted by the GGSE Contracts and Grants Office and provide financial support as well as training for our students.
