Application Process (OFAS)

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to begin the process of applying for financial aid. Students may file their application electronically on the Student Aid website.

Students who are not eligible to file the FAFSA should file the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) in order to be considered for financial aid. The application is available on the California Student Aid Commission’s website. In order to be considered for UCSB Institutional Grants or State Cal Grants, please make sure to file these applications by the March 2nd priority Deadline.
