Bachelor of Arts Degree
Candidates for the Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Letters and Science must complete the following general subject area requirements:
Area A - English Reading and Composition
Area B - Foreign Language
Three courses from Area C - Science, Mathematics, and Technology
Three courses from Area D - Social Science
Three courses from Area E - Culture and Thought
Two courses from Area F - Arts
Two courses from Area G - Literature
Students are also responsible for completing the following special subject area requirements:
Six courses from the Writing Requirement
